Modern Western Square Dance is a people-oriented event with the opportunity to be with others similarly inclined. It is both mental and physical, while learning to square dance, having fun and meeting new acquaintances. It's not like Grandma used to do, it's modern music. Try it, you'll like it!
About the instructor:
My name is Sheldon Lawrence and I teach Modern Western Square Dancing. I have been a Square Dance Caller for over 50 years, and I am a member of the Kansas Square Dance Hall of Fame. I belong to CALLERLAB – the International Association of Square Dance Callers.
