Turn your cherished t-shirts or special clothing items into a stunning handmade quilt! In this 9-week class, you will learn how to transform your collection of tees (or garments from a loved one) into a one-of-a-kind memory quilt.
With just basic sewing machine knowledge and your own machine (which can be easily transported to class), you will receive step-by-step instruction, insider tips, and time each week to begin each phase of the process in class. Between sessions, you will have guided homework to keep your project moving toward completion. These quilts make meaningful keepsakes.
A list of materials and supplies will be provided prior to the start of class. Twelve shirts are recommended, but there are lots of options working around that. Please bring laundered (without fabric softener) t-shirts under consideration to the first class.
