Youth Volleyball 2026
Maize Rec Fall Volleyball League – Serve, Set, and Spike Your Way to Fun!
Maize Rec is teaming up with Valley Center and Bel Aire Rec to offer an instructional, recreational volleyball league that focuses on skill development, teamwork, and fun! Players will practice for 3-4 weeks before transitioning into season play. Games will be hosted in Maize, Valley Center, and Bel Aire, giving players a chance to compete in a friendly, community-based league.
Where? Practices will take place at Maize South Middle School and Maize South Intermediate School.
When? Teams will practice once a week at either 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM, based on the volunteer coach’s schedule.
Who Can Play?
Boys and girls enrolled in 3rd through 6th grade for the 2026/2027 school year are welcome to join!
Cost & Registration
$55 per player | $125 per family (Out of District: $65 per player | $135 per family)

Equipment:
Each player must wear knee pads and indoor shoes for practices and games.

Volunteer Coaches: (New for 2026)
For up to two volunteer coaches per team, Maize Rec will provide registration fee refunds in the form of an account credit (to the value of an in-district registration). Each coach will receive a full refund of their child’s registration fee. Account credits may be applied toward future Maize Rec sports or programs.
Refunds will be issued at the end of the season, provided that both coaches remain in good standing with our program by:
- Passing a background check
- Upholding the coaches code of conduct (no unsportsmanlike conduct)
- Maintaining consistent attendance at practices and games
All volunteers will be vetted by the Sports Director, and the most qualified/experienced candidates will be selected. Marking “Yes” to volunteering on the registration form does not guarantee selection.
