Maize Rec offers a recreational soccer league each Fall. This league focuses on the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the hassle of travel or high-level competition. Each player has the opportunity to boost their soccer skills with practices once a week and games every Saturday morning. Practice times/days will be selected by a volunteer coach at the coaches meeting. Practices are typically Monday-Friday, with the first practice time being 6pm and the latest time being 7pm each night. Practices and games will take place at the Maize South High School Complex.

Girls and boys who want to participate must be enrolled in Pre-K (must be 4 as of August 31, 2024) through 6th grade for the 2024/2025 school year.
The cost is $55/player or $125/family (Out of District: $65/player or $135/family). If you have 3 or more children participating in youth flag football, youth soccer and/or youth volleyball, please call us at 729-7818 to receive the family discount.  Registration includes a team uniform, picture (individual and team), and a participation medal. Each player must wear shin guards. Cleats are encouraged but not required. 

Leagues as follows (leagues subject to change): 
PreK and Kindergarten 
1st, 2nd and 3rd grades 
4th, 5th and 6th grades 
If participation numbers allow then we will separate the boys and girls; however, this will be a coed league if participation numbers do not allow. - Based on our final participation numbers, here's how the team divisions will be structured for the 2024 season: (updated 7/18)
  • Pre-K - K soccer: Coed teams
  • 1st - 3rd grade soccer: Separate boys and girls teams
  • 4th - 6th grade soccer: Coed teams

Registration Deadline: July 15th
Coaches meeting: Week of July 29th
Practice begins: Week of August 5th
Games begin: August 24th
